If a miracle can be explained then why is it called a miracle?

Miracle: A surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is considered to be divine.

Now religious people like to use this world a lot, I for one have an aunt who blames everything on God’s miracles. Doesn’t matter what it is; could be the flu, being cured of cancer, surviving a car crash, finding money….etc

What I consider a miracle would be a house popping out of thin air, an amputee’s limb growing back, me getting spiderman powers, having the ability to dodge a bullet, growing functioning wings that allow me to fly like a bird…etc

But since none of that happens, isn’t it safe to say that miracles are non existent and maybe God is non existent as well?

I mean if we can explain mostly everything except the universe’s and life’s origin then why should we believe in a higher being?
So you mean to tell me we can explain over a billion things but just because we cant explain two things, that means a God exists? What kinda primitive lazy thinking is that?

Besides scientists kinda have an idea as to how the earth and life came to be, we dont accept it though since the God story appeals to us more and everyone wants to live forever in heaven!
